KPBS
Real Estate Donation Program

KPBS connects, reflects and serves all of our communities with trusted programming and dialogue. KPBS news serves the people of the San Diego region with trustworthy, in-depth information that allows the community to hold its leaders accountable. We show how global and local current affairs change our lives, and how San Diego changes the world.

Among the many ways that listeners, viewers and digital audience members can support KPBS by donating real estate.

About Real Estate Donations

KPBS partners with CARS (Charitable Adult Rides & Services) to process donations in the form of real estate assets. Properties in any location, condition or format are eligible for donating to KPBS. Back taxes, mortgage balances and deferred maintenance do not prohibit you from being able to donate. Our program covers all loans, liens, commissions and closing costs, as long as there is equity in the property.

If you have land or a residential or commercial real estate asset that is unused or costing you money, consider giving back to the station you love by donating it to KPBS. As a result, you may also be eligible for a significant tax deduction!
